Whiz Kid Games is the brain child of Heather Watherston, one of the former owners /Managing Director of The Lagoon Group.
Heather used to come up with and play a variety of homemade games with her children when they were in primary school to help them learn to spell, tell the time and do their times tables. She understood the importance of involving the children and engaging them in games to help them learn. Then during the coronavirus pandemic, when many parents really struggled to home school their young children, Heather felt there had never been a better time to design educational games that support the key stage 1 and 2 curriculum. So Whiz Kid Games - with its mission to entertain and educate - was born!

As well as having a mission to bring people together to play and learn, Whiz Kid Games is environmentally-focused.
We manufacture in Europe not only to avoid the
damage of long distance travel on the environment but because our partner there prides itself on its green credentials using 100% renewable energy to power its plants.
Whiz Kid Games games are printed on FSC paper, playing pieces and dice are made from wood from local, sustainable forests and colours and coating are all water-based and non toxic.
Everything we make is 100% recyclable.
